“Mish Mash” n…

“Mish Mash”
n.
A collection or mixture of unrelated things; a hodgepodge.

flower field

A gorgeous field of flowers adjacent to an ordinary town.

A women-empowering song by rising sisters band, Haim.

Kina Grannis’ great song enhanced in her amazing video.

Jars

Pigment rising as smoke out of mason jars.

FTP’s new single to painting of the mural of their new album cover.

It can be argued that the collection above can be categorized and can be considered related but simply stated, it is a mish mash of videos, songs, and photos I like.

  1. I loved how there aren’t a lot of words in the post, but the different genres of music and feelings that each one brought tied together the idea of “mish mash”. The songs were all really cool, and I’m a big fan of Kina Grannis! In my opinion, “In Your Arms” is one of her best songs. A song I really like, that you may like to is “Tangerine Dreams” by Charlie Puth. Check it out maybe? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Yj3uWvuYj8 :)

    • Aw, thanks. I love discovering new songs and listening to different genres of music, this post more focused on indie and pop. At first listen, I like the soft, somewhat melancholic pop and the lyrics. Thanks for the recommendation. :)
