Okay, so the title of this post isn’t exactly relevant
to its topic which is in fact titles. Titles contribute
to the first impression you may get from a work.
And in this case, it was to promote views rather than
to title my blog post about titles “Titles.”
Speaking of “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, it
appropriately summarizes his song in a single word.
It is well utilized as it is the one word you cannot
misinterpret or miss after one listen, and it is also
contributes to the mood he intends his listeners to
feel when listening.
Titles usually consist of one or a couple words as it
can be difficult to remember long titles. However,
some titles are longer, as long as a sentence which
is also useful, being unique and a more complete
thought for audiences. “Why’d You Only Call Me
When You’re High?” is a single by the Arctic
Monkeys that utilizes a line as its title and also is
comical which can cause someone coming across
the track to listen to it out of curiosity.
It is also a favorite track of mine from AM, so I
definitely encourage a listen.
I titled this blog in attempt to connect a creative,
artsy theme to development and its formation. It
may however been a mistake in not creating
a more unique title as it often gets lost and mixed
with arts foundations. I am planning to run with
blog and its title as it is regardless. ;)
